CHINA BOUND JCB's THANKS TO BRIT EUROPEAN

Brit European was recently tasked to move 6 x JCB 330 LR Tracked Excavators from Beamhurst, Staffordshire to Southampton Docks and which were destined to be shipped to China. These are big, long and heavy machines!
Phil Murphy, pictured below left, was given the unenviable task of planning the moves. Phil had to organise timings to the second, arrange for Vehicle Escorts for the whole of the journey and to ensure that all legislation was covered. There was no room for error. As one would expect the collections and deliveries went like clockwork! The journey took just over 7 hours to complete and all machines arrived at the designated times in Southampton Docks. One of the drivers, Craig Draper, pictured bottom right, was so relieved that he arrived on time and without any mishap that he took to saying a prayer to someone....not sure if it was to Phil or someone higher up the Supply Chain!!
