AN EXCEPTIONAL MEMBER OF STAFF

Below is a copy of an email sent to Brit European by one of our customers regarding a member of our staff.

I am sending this email to tell how exceptional one of your staff is. His name is Paul Melia (pictured below).  We have been using Brit European for the movement of our trucks, for about three years now. We did use to use two different companies, but I now give all my work to you, and this is directly because of Paul.

He has never once dropped the ball. This is exceptional in itself but he always goes the extra mile. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, reliable and flexible, and to us invaluable.  We are an extremely busy dealership and have moved nearly 300 units in the first 5 months of this year, Brit European have moved almost 100 of them.  I know that if I ask for a job to be done, I can relax, knowing that Paul will take care of the delivery for me. For a dealership, as busy as ours, that makes Paul a godsend.

Please let Paul know what a great job he does, I do tell him, but he’s very modest and says it’s all in a day’s work.

BRIT EUROPEAN HIGHLY COMMENDED

Brit European Transport has been highly commended by the FTA for their work in the field of carbon reductions in logistics. Below is a excerpt from the Awards Ceremony held recently by the FTA.

'Brit European has utilised dual fuel hgv's for its fleet that transports construction equipment. Due to the company operating unusual equipment with a very low fifth wheel height, this led to the redesign of the vehicle to reallocate the diesel and AdBlue tanks and accommodate the gas conversion. Additionally, a unique portable gas refuelling facility was also implemented.'

Andy Evans, Fleet Optimisation Manager, is seen below collecting the Award on behalf of Brit European.

BRIT EUROPEAN BASEBALL CAP ON TOUR

Andrew Shore, he of accounts fame, recently went on a cruise of the Mediterranean and as expected he took with him his treasured Brit European Baseball Cap. Andrew has very kindly sent me a few of the selfies he took and with his permission I have reproduced them here for you all to gawk over! Does he not look like James Bond or what????

Image top left - Andrew with Barrack Obama in Rome. I think BO wanted to keep the hat but Andrew was having none of it!!!
Image bottom left - what to do after a hard days work doing nothing at all in St Moritz...have a cold beer.
Image centre - about to throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain, Rome. Did his wish come true I wonder?
Image right - Andrew doing his James Bond impression on the Cruise liner. I am reliably informed that after the photo was taken Andrew was thrown overboard!
